The St. George Area Parade of Homes is presented by the Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA). SUHBA is a trade association representing building industry businesses throughout Washington, Kane and San Juan Counties of Southern Utah. Our members play a vital role in the construction industry. Our mission is to support the home building industry and benefit its members, partners, and communities through education, relationships, advocacy, and service. We work together to build a better community.

Our members believe in building communities by actively participating in community service projects. By attending the Parade of Homes, you help to support these important community projects. In 2014, SUHBA members headed the remodel of the St. George City SwitchPoint Community Resource Center. This is a new facility that provides temporary housing, food, and important resources to assist homeless individuals transitioning to independent living. In 2013, SUHBA members built the “My Home is My Castle” exhibit in the St. George Children’s Museum. Over 140 SUHBA members in 2012 completed a new home, equipped with handicapped accessible features, built for a disabled art student attending college.  SUHBA members built the Doctors Volunteer Clinic in 2002 and expanded/remodeled in 2011 which has assisted over 50,000 residents in Washington County. SUHBA is a supporter of Habitat for Humanity and continues to help our local food bank to provide meals to families in need.

SUHBA continues to award annual scholarships to students and adults seeking education in building related professions. Over $60,000 has been awarded in the last six years. $20,000 was awarded in scholarships in 2014.

Parade of Homes proceeds also provides the means in which the association can operate to handle important government affairs housing issues and regulations, provide educational and marketing opportunities to its members, membership luncheons and networking opportunities.
